Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full Time
Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £95 to £120 per day (PAYE)
Calling all confident HLTAs who enjoy leading groups, jumping into lessons, and supporting pupils with additional needs. This is a brilliant chance to join a caring, specialist provision where your skills will be valued and used daily.
In this role, you will:

Lead small-group learning sessions

Deliver pre-planned lessons when needed

Support learners with communication and sensory needs

Work closely with the SEND team to adapt resources

Be a friendly, steady presence for pupils who need consistency
What we’re looking for:

HLTA status or strong experience in a similar role

Confidence leading learning

Strong communication and organisation
-
Experience with SEND pupils is a big advantage
