SEN Teacher – Doncaster
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans and monitor pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals
- Promote pupils' confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN or SEND is desirable
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and behaviour management
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
