We're recruiting for a specialist school supporting young people who have experienced exclusion, barriers to learning, mental health challenges, or difficulties accessing mainstream education. Every day is a chance to help a young person build confidence, trust, and a brighter future.
Your Role
As a Behaviour & Inclusion Practitioner in Harrogate, you'll:

Support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4)

Work 1:1 and with small groups to build confidence and engagement

Support students with SEMH, SEND, autism, ADHD and additional needs
-
Use positive behaviour strategies and trauma-informed approaches
-
Help pupils regulate emotions and develop positive relationships
-
Create a calm, safe and consistent learning environment
-
Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to remove barriers to learning
This isn't about controlling behaviour.

Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
