SEN Teacher – Chesterfield

The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals
- Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and overall wellbeing
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN is desirable
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and SEN strategies
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
