Cover Supervisor – Chesterfield
We are looking for a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting students in their learning.
The Role:
- Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain engaged
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Support students with their learning and answer basic questions where appropriate
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and behaviour
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confident, organised, and adaptable approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
