The Role
As a Sports Graduate, you may work as a:
- Teaching Assistant
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- Learning Mentor
- SEMH Support Assistant
- Inclusion Support Assistant
- Sports Coach
- Student Wellbeing Mentor
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Using sports-based approaches to engage and motivate learners.
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Working with students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.
- Delivering structured intervention and mentoring sessions.
- Encouraging teamwork, confidence and resilience.
- Assisting teachers with classroom learning and activities.
- Building positive relationships that help students thrive academically and socially.

We're Looking For
- A degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education or a related subject.
- A passion for supporting young people.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence leading and engaging groups.
- A proactive, resilient and positive attitude.
- The ability to act as a positive role model.
- Previous coaching, mentoring, tutoring or youth work experience is desirable but not essential.
