This school is built around supporting lower ability pupils or those with additional needs.
The Role includes:
-Working 5 days a week within the school or additional provision, supporting lower ability pupils or those with various additional needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, GDD, HI, VI, PMLD) in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to help improve engagement, interaction and raise attainment
-Learning and developing your LSA skills
-Working closely with parents to ensure what is carried out at school is continued at home
-A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children
This is a full-time, temp to permanent opportunity (8:30am - 3:30pm).
School experience ideal, but not essential - Graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers or personal experience accepted.
