A specialist provision in Gateshead is looking for a BSL Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with hearing impairments, Autism Spectrum Condition and speech and language needs.
The school promotes a total communication approach, combining BSL, visual aids and structured routines.
Location: Gateshead
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Responsibilities
• Supporting pupils using BSL in lessons
• Encouraging communication and engagement
• Supporting pupils with sensory and emotional needs
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities
