Protocol Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary School in Durham. You'll be supporting a student on 1:1 to with SEMH needs by encouraging engagement, promoting positive behaviour, and helping create a safe learning environment.
This role is ideal for people with resilience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support young people. Previous classroom experience is useful, but we are equally interested in individuals who are eager to learn and make a difference.
You will:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Promote inclusion throughout the school day.
- Encourage independence and confidence.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and families.
- Help create a safe and engaging learning environment
