The Role

As a Psychology Graduate, you may work as a:

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Behaviour Support Assistant
  • SEMH Support Assistant
  • Inclusion Support Assistant
  • Pastoral Support Assistant
  • Student Wellbeing Mentor

You'll gain invaluable experience by:

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
  • Working with pupils with SEND, Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • Helping students develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
  • Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing within the classroom.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Implementing strategies that support positive behaviour and inclusion.
  • Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.
  • Building positive relationships that encourage student engagement and achievement.
