The Role
As a Psychology Graduate, you may work as a:
- Learning Support Assistant
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- SEMH Support Assistant
- Inclusion Support Assistant
- Pastoral Support Assistant
- Student Wellbeing Mentor
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Working with pupils with SEND, Autism (ASC), ADHD and SEMH needs.
- Helping students develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing within the classroom.
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Implementing strategies that support positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.
- Building positive relationships that encourage student engagement and achievement.
